- Can an intercom be added to an existing security system?
- In most cases yes. We check the existing cabling and equipment onsite, then advise whether the intercom can join the current system or needs its own cable run and power.
- Do intercoms need a network connection?
- App-based intercoms need a stable internet connection and are best run on a wired connection back to your router or switch. We can install that cabling as part of the job.
- What access options are available at a gate or door?
- Depending on the equipment selected, entry can be released from the app, an indoor handset, a keypad code or a fob or card reader.
- Do you work on commercial sites?
- Yes. We install door stations, readers and release hardware for offices, warehouses and body corporate entries, and can tie them into your cameras and network.
